Guidepost Montessori is seeking an idealistic and ambitious individual to join our team as an Upper Elementary Teacher. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, pilot innovative programs, and implement advancements in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a mixed-age Montessori upper elementary classroom (grades 4-6) as a full-time classroom teacher
  • Support students with small group and individual lessons, follow-up work, and real-world extensions in all content areas
  • Collaborate with program experts to create customized lesson plans and a classroom culture that values effortful choices and truth-seeking inquiry
  • Communicate regularly with parents to ensure they have a clear understanding of their child's progress
  • Work closely with a team of educators to evaluate and improve the classroom experience

Professional Growth and Development:

  • Participate in a network of educators and developers creating and improving a radically innovative national program
  • Join a fully-paid two-year accredited teacher training program to earn a Montessori elementary credential
