Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, and promoting healthy lifestyles through education and counseling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, disease state management, and patient education.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, including compounding, verification, and labeling.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, including medication regimens and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and optimal health outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice, including new medications, technologies, and treatment guidelines.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist licensure in the state of Connecticut.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient cases and develop effective solutions.
