About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Relationship Banker to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and prospects, identifying their financial needs, and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their goals.
  • Financial Solutions: Offer advice and guidance on a range of financial products and services, including everyday banking, retail investments, lending solutions, and small business solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with customers to understand their financial goals and provide personalized advice and guidance.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow BMO's business by reaching out to new customers and building relationships within the community.
  • Risk Management: Apply the risk management framework to the portfolio to protect the Bank's assets and maintain the quality of the lending portfolio.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and connections with customers, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
