HR Business Partner Opportunity at HLB Lighting Design

HLB Lighting Design, the largest independent architectural lighting design firm in North America, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR team, you will collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement strategies that support people and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with team members and HR colleagues.
  • Identify and anticipate strategic and operational business and human capital challenges, providing innovative solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, presenting multiple perspectives and insights.
  • Demonstrate and scale the application of HR disciplines, including employee engagement, retention, and talent development.
  • Develop and implement HR-related projects, participating in special initiatives as needed.
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset, seeking opportunities to increase the return on investment of human resources programs.
  • Champion and solidify full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent.
  • Implement, manage, and train team members on automated performance management tools.
  • Support geographic expansions, serving international team members in differing time zones.
  • Keep abreast of changing HR regulatory requirements, supporting implementation across all HLB offices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources/behavior psychology or related field, Master's degree a plus.
  • Human Resources Certifications preferred or willingness to obtain first level of certification within first year of employment.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related work experience with AEC experience preferred.
  • Experience with PayPro and Deltek is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Advanced skills with automated recruitment and performance management software required.

Compensation: $81, $88,251.88, with final agreed-upon compensation based on cost of living, individual education, qualifications, and experience.
