Senior Donor Relations Specialist

About the Role
The Seminar Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their development team as a Senior Donor Relations Specialist. This key role will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective donors, driving growth and engagement within the existing donor base.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and build upon relationships with current donors, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
- Develop and implement a long-term cultivation strategy for the donor portfolio, utilizing events, referrals, and other opportunities to build lasting relationships.
- Connect partners with the opportunities that best meet their interests, driving engagement and support for The Seminar Network's mission.
- Work closely with the Development Associate to track and manage portfolio opportunities, relationship details, and results.
- Drive donor meeting follow-up, including regular communications, thank you notes, and procurement of gifts.
- Assist with major donor events as needed, providing exceptional customer service to members, partners, and state chapters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
- Five years' professional experience in fundraising, business development, high-end sales, or external relations.
- Ability and willingness to aggressively travel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a changing environment.
- Integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial attitude.
- A positive attitude and a sincere interest in providing good customer service.
