About the Role:
At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for promoting the overall wellbeing of our residents, ensuring their health and safety needs are met, and providing exceptional care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular wellness visits for all residents, monitoring their health and wellbeing, and identifying any potential issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care and support.
- Provide education and training to community team members on infection control practices, medication administration, and other relevant topics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and resident satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current RN or LPN licensure required.
- Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in senior care or long-term care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
