Mail Processing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mail Processing Specialist to join our team at Tandem Solutions. As a key member of our mail processing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily processing of first-class and standard mail.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain automated mail processing equipment, including the MLOCR.
- Conduct daily mail inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Oversee the quality control process for first-class presort mail.
- Deliver mail to the USPS at the end of each day.
- Coordinate with Standard Mail Supervisors to schedule special mailings on the MLOCR.
- Provide support and backup to postage meter operators as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the mail processing team to ensure efficient and accurate mail processing.
- Communicate quality and service issues to the Production Manager.
- Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to a supervisor or department head.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of mail preparation and automated mail processing equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Leadership experience and ability to work independently.
