Job Summary

As a Security Officer with Blackstone Consulting, you will serve as a visible deterrent to crime and client policy, standing post as instructed and maintaining a general security presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and detect suspicious activities, reporting incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies to your supervisor immediately.
  • Patrol the exterior of facilities and parking areas by foot as directed, maintaining a proactive loss prevention presence.
  • Address security-related complaints, ensuring proper documentation is completed as required.
  • Maintain daily activity reports, consistently performing tasks with high attendance, uniform appearance, and professional grooming.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and customers, demonstrating a positive attitude and outstanding customer service skills.

Requirements:

  • Possess and maintain an active guard card.
  • Three years of experience in the security profession.
  • Fluency in English (fluency in other languages is a plus).
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written orders.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and complete foot patrols as required.
  • Ability to respond to emergency incidents and notify authorities as necessary.
  • Ability to lift a 20-pound box at waist level.
  • Valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record, subject to DMV Pull Program.

Mandatory Prerequisites:

  • At least 21 years of age or older.
  • Stable work history with verifiable positive work references.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Pass an extensive background screening, including criminal checks, drug tests, skills assessments, interviews, and personality profiles.
  • No criminal convictions.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
