Job Title: Assistant Patient Care Director, 3B Surgical/Trauma IMCU

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Patient Care Director to join our dynamic team at VHC Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing the nursing unit and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct the nursing unit and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Coordinate activities with ancillary departments and ensure seamless communication
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with the patient care director to achieve unit goals and objectives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
  • One year of experience in nursing/patient care
  • One year of demonstrated leadership ability
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure in Nursing
  • Certification in Area of Clinical Specialty is preferred
