Clinical Technician, 3B/Trauma Surgery Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Technician II to join our Trauma Surgery department at VHC Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and activities of daily living under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Observe changes in patient status and report to the nursing team.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Transport patients and equipment as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Equivalent experience or completion of a Clinical Technician II program required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of six education hours related to current role.
Works in a well-lighted/ventilated office/clinical setting. Subject to frequent interruptions and long hours. May be required to work beyond normal working hours when requested to do so.
Routine occupational exposure to infectious diseases, blood borne pathogens, bodily fluids, hazardous chemicals, noxious odors, latex, and/or musculoskeletal injuries. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is needed for instances of exposure to blood, body fluids and infectious processes, and are supplied by the hospital.
