About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Scheduler/Patient Care Representative to join our team at VHC Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate surgical procedures, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, addressing their needs and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Manage patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist with insurance verifications, preauthorizations, and billing processes.
  • Perform daily batching and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Two years of office/clerical experience and two years of healthcare/medical experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
