SDS2 / ALLPLAN is a leading provider of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software tailored for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector. We are currently seeking a Product Owner who will play a crucial role in advancing our software offerings designed specifically for steel detailers and fabricators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the product roadmap and backlog for engineering analysis and structural workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client requirements.
- Define and prioritize product initiatives while collaborating on strategic direction informed by customer insights, market trends, and analytical data.
- Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and other key stakeholders to ensure clear and comprehensive product specifications.
- Guarantee that the digital experience is intuitive, accessible, and compliant with industry standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and communicating challenges effectively.
Qualifications:
- Possess a deep understanding of steel detailing and fabrication standards, enabling effective communication with development teams and the recommendation of best practices for our clients.
- Demonstrate a strong background in product management, particularly within agile frameworks and scrum methodologies, with a proven ability to lead a motivated team.
- Drive ongoing product enhancements and deliver outcomes that surpass client expectations.
- Act as an ambassador for the industry while representing SDS2 / ALLPLAN.
- Exhibit proficiency in gathering and analyzing market intelligence (including user, prospect, and competitor data) to inform product strategy.
- Collaborate across departments to create compelling value propositions at the outset of the development process.
- Define user personas and work alongside UX and Development teams to conduct technology assessments and set direction.
- Build and oversee the product backlog in collaboration with a cross-functional team.
