Immunization Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse 3 to join our team as an Immunization Program Coordinator. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and coordination skills to manage the planning and implementation of the immunization program for all District 4 Clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the planning and implementation of the immunization program, ensuring compliance with ACIP recommendations and VFC program requirements.
- Develop strategies to advance the immunization program based on data collection and programmatic assessments.
- Complete a population-based study annually to assess the percentage of children up to date on immunizations by age two.
- Compile district-wide data for annual immunization assessment to evaluate children 19-35 months of age.
- Ensure all providers administer vaccines based on ACIP recommendations by completing annual Quality Assurance Visits at all District 4 Clinics.
- Collaborate with the District Immunization Program Consultant to develop an annual educational plan to educate District 4 Clinic staff, private providers, schools, daycare centers, and the public.
- Evaluate the vaccination status of disease contacts and public health employees to prevent the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases.
- Collaborate with the District Epidemiologist and infection disease unit to assess immunization status of patients involved in a vaccine-preventable disease outbreak/investigation.
- Vocational/Technical degree in licensed practical nursing from an accredited college.
- Four years of LPN public health experience.
- Current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
