Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Liaison Specialist to join our team at Wellstar Health System. This full-time role will be located at our Roosevelt Warm Springs location and will play a critical role in coordinating daily operations, developing marketing strategies, and promoting our facility to the general public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Support: Provide marketing support by understanding healthcare operations, trends, and data analytics to promote and establish contact with potential customers or referral sources.
  • Education and Content Creation: Create and provide education materials for referral sources, physicians on services, programs, and outcomes, and deliver content for our social media accounts.
  • Admissions Coordination: Assist with the coordination of admissions, including maintaining tracking files, completing report emails, leading morning conference calls, and providing facility tours.
  • Clinical Evaluations: Complete clinical evaluations by discussing with potential patients and families of pre-admission and admission processes, and accurately perform assessments and complete pre-admission screens in a timely manner.
  • Facilitation and Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate with physicians and other departments as necessary for admission, and maintain compliance with Patient/Family-Centered care standards.
  • Customer Service: Maintain compliance with RWSH Customer Service standards and provide professional, organized, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to interact appropriately with patients from various backgrounds.
Requirements
  • Education: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree or equivalent required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Current American Heart Association, Basic Life Support certification and current LPN license in the State of Georgia or active Multi-State LPN Compact License required.
  • Experience: 2 years or more of experience in direct patient care as an LPN required, and 1 year or more of experience in navigating patients through the continuum of their care preferred.
  • Skills: Professional, organized, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
