The Voice & Video Engineering team provides comprehensive telecommunication services, virtual meetings, room systems, webcasting, and collaborative solutions throughout the organization. You will collaborate with a team of highly skilled voice and video engineers to oversee and enhance video conferencing systems that incorporate hardware from various vendors and operate across multiple platforms. This position will manage video hardware upgrades across different locations, in collaboration with senior engineering personnel. The ideal candidate will exhibit proficiency in end-user support, server management, networking, and video hardware expertise within Microsoft 365, Cisco Room OS, Microsoft Teams Room OS, and related management tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the video conferencing room infrastructure, including hardware upgrades.
  • Manage the Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex environments.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Office 365 and Microsoft Teams with existing telepresence rooms and associated technologies.
  • Assist in Change Management and deployment processes.
  • Demonstrate accountability, diligence, and a commitment to contributing to the overall success of the program by ensuring the highest quality of Voice and Video services.
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Experience within the Schwab Technology Domain as a contractor for a minimum of 18 months.
  • Over 5 years of direct experience in the installation, configuration, and management of video conferencing hardware.
  • Familiarity with primary video software, including Cisco Room OS, MTR OS, Cisco Webex, and Microsoft Teams across all platforms.
  • Experience in providing support to end users within the relevant systems mentioned above.
Preferred:
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-user technologies, including Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Knowledge of Cisco networking environments, including relevant certifications.
  • Proven experience with Crestron programming environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-direction and motivation across various tasks.
