Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Team Lead to oversee, grow, and develop a team of commissioning experts in the Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, commissioning, or engineering, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Project and Team Management: Oversee multiple projects, manage a team of commissioning professionals, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Attending Trade/Industry Events: Represent RMF Engineering, Inc. at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Develop and Mentor CX Team Members: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to commissioning team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Quality Control for Project Documentation: Ensure that all project documentation meets the required standards and is accurate and complete.
  • Commissioning Documentation and Report Writing: Prepare and submit commissioning reports and documentation to clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Conducting Functional Performance Tests: Conduct functional performance tests to ensure that systems and equipment are functioning as intended.
  • Conducting Client/Project Meetings: Attend meetings with clients and project stakeholders to discuss project progress, address concerns, and provide updates.
  • Design Review: Review and approve design documents to ensure that they meet the required standards and are accurate and complete.
  • System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot system issues and provide solutions to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Site Observation: Conduct site observations to ensure that projects are being constructed in accordance with the approved design documents and specifications.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction, commissioning, or engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong business development, project management, and leadership skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: ACG or BCA Commissioning Certification is preferred.
