Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Team Lead to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our patient services, including directing and educating staff, maintaining equipment and supplies, and performing advanced procedures as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the daily operation of radiology patient services
  • Direct and educate staff on radiology procedures and protocols
  • Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform advanced procedures as needed, including routine and complex radiologic procedures
  • Assist radiologists in evaluating new products and equipment
  • Oversee the maintenance of x-ray equipment and resolve any malfunctions
  • Coordinate quality assurance and quality improvement activities
  • Establish quality measures and standards
  • Conduct employee evaluations and provide feedback on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and conduct employee training programs
  • Regularly meet with and communicate operational changes to staff
  • Assist in developing short and long-term goals and objectives
  • Review and administer departmental policies, procedures, and related forms in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience, including at least one (1) year supervisory or Level 3 RT experience
