Position Overview
As a Senior Project Engineer specializing in Commissioning & Assurance, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission towards a sustainable future. Join our dynamic team at Ramboll Group A/S and contribute to innovative projects that shape the infrastructure of tomorrow.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee and coordinate multi-disciplinary tasks related to the design, review, and commissioning of essential infrastructure for both new and existing projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Identifying opportunities within EYP services and engaging in discussions with clients to promote viable solutions.
  • Fostering repeat business through strong client relationships.
  • Participating in thought leadership initiatives to cultivate a creative work environment.
  • Engaging with professional organizations for networking and continuous education.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Traveling as necessary to fulfill project requirements.

Project Management
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing multidisciplinary engineering commissioning roles for large facility projects. This includes:

  • Implementing a rigorous quality management process to validate and document client systems.
  • Conducting comprehensive testing procedures to ensure the integrity and performance of critical infrastructure.
  • Preparing detailed commissioning test procedures and reports, including recommendations for optimizing operations.
  • Reviewing design criteria and specifications relevant to commissioning activities.

Collaboration and Communication
Your role will require effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. You will:

  • Lead and manage external resources and coordinate commissioning meetings.
  • Interface with various stakeholders to address project assignments and testing requirements.
  • Assist with troubleshooting commissioned equipment and verify test report results.

Energy Management
Additionally, you will conduct energy audits and manage the implementation of energy conservation measures (ECMs). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing detailed assessments of existing buildings to identify deficiencies and potential improvements.
  • Applying engineering principles to adjust projects as necessary.
  • Demonstrating expertise in conducting ASHRAE-defined Commercial Building Energy Audits.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, or controls engineering, energy services, or construction management.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in commissioning or maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with general contractors.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and construction methods.
