We are in search of a dedicated Executive Assistant to provide essential support to two senior directors within our development (fundraising) team. The Stand Together development team unites prominent business leaders to tackle our nation's most pressing challenges through strategic financial leadership and innovative program investments. Our high-performing major gifts program enables numerous donor partners to engage actively in the initiatives they support, furthering our collective goals through consistent, year-round involvement.

Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will align task management with organizational objectives while maintaining a high level of confidentiality, urgency, and customer focus. The development team operates in a dynamic, collaborative environment that relies heavily on effective scheduling and meeting coordination. Success in this position requires a proactive approach to identifying and anticipating business needs, recognizing that intentionality and execution excellence are key to achieving results.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of priorities to optimize the leaders' schedules. Manage a high volume of inquiries and requests, resolving conflicts for your team. Make informed decisions regarding time allocation and provide recommendations based on strategic priorities to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Administrative Support: Handle invoice processing, reconcile receipts and expense reports on behalf of your leaders, and coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and logistics.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and innovate administrative processes. Collaborate with internal and external Executive Assistants to prioritize tasks and make informed trade-offs. Explore and adopt new tools and techniques to elevate the support and partnership provided by the administrative team.
  • Project Ownership: Contribute to team and organizational projects and operational enhancements as required.

Qualifications and Skills

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • A professional demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and the initiative to engage effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback respectfully.
  • A strategic approach to managing the leader's time as a valuable resource.
  • A high level of confidentiality, sound judgment, and the ability to think creatively and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Articulate and concise oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook (especially calendar management), and PowerPoint.
  • A clear understanding of and enthusiasm for Stand Together's mission.

Preferred Qualifications

Standout candidates may also have:

  • Experience with expense reporting software, such as Concur.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
