Job Summary
The San Francisco Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Branch Services Representative to serve as the liaison between members and the Credit Union. This role provides a variety of services, including opening new accounts, processing loans, and offering information on credit union products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain professional and courteous interactions with all members by promptly attending to inquiries and requests.
- Utilize professional and friendly communication to provide superior service to both external and internal partners.
- Open new accounts for new and existing members.
- Process and fund all consumer loans, including credit cards, personal loans, and auto loans.
- Process all types of teller transactions accurately and according to policy and procedure.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and balances cash drawer daily.
- Provide support with opening and closing duties, taking on Vault Teller functions, and efficiently working with high volumes of cash.
- Provide support in a number of functions, including payroll, ACH, accounts payable, collections, ATM, and wire transfers.
- Evaluate members' needs and offer the appropriate products and services to enhance member relationships and foster member loyalty.
- Research member issues and provide resolutions, necessary updates, and relevant information.
- Cross-sell credit union products and services while displaying a comprehensive understanding of all product features and benefits.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and proactively collaborate with management to seek improvement in ability to reach goals when needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years related experience in a financial institution.
- Possess and consistently deliver strong customer service and sales skills.
- Ability to be well organized, a team-player, motivated, and flexible with working hours.
- Possess and demonstrate the ability to maintain organized and accurate records.
- Possess good mathematical aptitude, in addition to outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Display proficiency in use of basic business and cash handling machines.
- Display proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs.
- Comply with appropriate legal, regulatory, internal control, and quality standard requirements of the Credit Union.
