- Prepare cooking components by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meats, and other meal preparations.
- Uphold a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and managing waste.
- Ensure proper storage of all food and related items.
- Comply with nutritional and sanitation standards.
- Engage in the DHC Training Program to acquire new skills and responsibilities.
- Communicate with supervisors when further training or guidance is necessary.
- Recognize how each task affects guests, fellow employees, and overall restaurant operations.
- Collaborate with co-workers to prepare menu items while following cooking instructions and safety regulations.
- Utilize specific kitchen equipment such as fryers, warmers, and ice cream dispensers.
- Ensure daily cleanliness of the restaurant by clearing tables, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing kitchen utensils and high-touch areas.
- Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the uniform policy.
- Be performance-oriented and aware of performance expectations and results.
- Follow directives from the restaurant management team.
