About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at MKS Instruments. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for partnering with Product Marketing Managers and other colleagues to demonstrate, sell, and support the installation of our chemistry and equipment products to the PCB, PWB, and Advanced Packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Atotech EL chemistry and equipment products to key accounts and potential customers in the Southern California territory.
  • Participate in demonstrations, technical presentations, and other activities that lead to increased sales of Atotech products and services.
  • Support the installation of chemistry products at customer facilities.
  • Assist customers in optimizing and operator training.
  • Perform audits of customer processes to ensure optimum performance and continuous improvement.
  • Perform analysis of customer process chemistries at their site.
  • Provide account management for our business with customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical/engineering fields.
  • Five years minimum experience in technology or electronics manufacturing, preferably in PCB, PWB, and Advanced Packaging chemical process engineering.
  • Root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills, both chemical and mechanical.
Preferred Skills
  • Sales experience.
  • Account management experience.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
