About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance to lead our insurance management function for the Americas region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies, managing insurance programs, and providing expert advice to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage insurance programs, including liability, property, and workers' compensation, to ensure optimal coverage and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on risk management and insurance matters, including claims management and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, procurement, and operations, to ensure effective risk management and insurance practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance brokers, underwriters, and other industry professionals to ensure access to competitive insurance programs.
  • Manage and supervise a team of insurance professionals to ensure effective delivery of risk management and insurance services.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in risk management, insurance, or a related field, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance markets, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
