Job Summary:

As a Compliance Risk Manager at Loves Travel Stops & Country Store, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's trade surveillance and compliance programs are effective and up-to-date. You will work closely with trading, legal, risk, and accounting teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks. Your expertise in commodities/energy markets and knowledge of laws and regulations related to Musket's commercial business lines will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and continuously improve policies, procedures, and controls to help mitigate compliance risks
Lead the review, analysis, and reporting of results from internal trade surveillance system(s)
Respond to and report alerts from internal compliance systems/solutions
Lead internal compliance investigations and reviews of trading activity
Contribute to investigations and responses to regulatory inquiries
Contribute to routine compliance trainings
Ad hoc compliance reporting as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
MLS or JD degree preferred
3-5 years' relevant experience in a compliance, audit, middle office, or legal role
Experience in a trading organization, financial services, or legal firm preferred
Experience with oil, refined products, NGL, and/or biofuel markets preferred

Skills and Physical Demands:

Proven understanding of commodities/energy markets
Proven organizational and time-management/prioritization skills
Attention to detail
Strong communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of laws and regulations related to Musket's commercial business lines
Familiarity with RightAngle or other ETRM system preferred

Physical Demands:

Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
