Position Overview

As a Senior Analyst specializing in Medical Economics, you will collaborate with local market network teams to implement and manage Value-Based Contracting (VBC) agreements. Your role is crucial in ensuring the proactive monitoring and facilitation of VBC incentive payment commitments throughout the contract lifecycle.

This position involves working with scorecards, processing reconciliation payment requests, and generating reports to support the increasingly complex requirements of incentive payments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of your portfolio of markets and agreements.
  • Collaborate with negotiators, network managers, and value-based partners to fulfill contractual obligations.
  • Assist in pre-deal evaluations and provide recommendations.
  • Engage in enhancement projects and process improvements.
  • Conduct analysis of value-based arrangements across various business lines.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of Excel experience in a professional or academic setting.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years in the managed care sector with exposure to value-based contracting.
  • 1+ years of experience in financial analysis and/or administrative claims data.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Effective communication with diverse audiences.
  • Resourceful and adaptable to change.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with SAS or similar web-query programs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Education

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.


Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is between $43,000 and $107,200 annually. This range represents the base salary for all positions within this job grade.
