Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly financial and operational assessments using diverse data sources and methodologies.
- Engage with business stakeholders regularly to gather insights and feedback.
- Create sustainable, value-driven trend analyses.
- Prepare detailed commentary for financial reports, including managed and allocated expenses.
- Assist in the financial forecasting process.
- Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial and management reports.
- Verify that general ledger transactions, reserves, paid corrections, and cost allocations are appropriate and well-supported.
- Participate in special projects as required.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in expense management or financial analysis.
- Proficient in Excel; familiarity with TM1 is advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to cultivate effective working relationships with business partners and other stakeholders.

Compensation:
The annualized base salary range for this position is between $78,080 and $117,120. This range is based on an analysis of similar roles in the market. Actual compensation may vary based on performance, proficiency, and the demonstration of required competencies. The base salary is just one aspect of The Hartford's comprehensive compensation package, which may also include bonuses, long-term incentives, and recognition rewards.
