Join Our Team as a Computational Researcher
The Howard Hughes Medical Institute is seeking a talented Research Technician to join our Flavell Lab in Cambridge, MA. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to cutting-edge research in computational analysis and modeling of population neural activity in freely-behaving animals. Your expertise in deep learning approaches and data processing will be instrumental in advancing our understanding of brain function and behavior.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement software packages for data processing and analysis
* Collaborate with researchers to design and conduct experiments
* Analyze and interpret large datasets using systems neuroscience approaches
* Present research findings through written reports and presentations
* Assist in lab management, organization, and equipment maintenance

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, neuroscience, biology, mathematics, or related field
* Proficiency in Python, Julia, Matlab, or R, with excellent debugging skills
* Experience with Github for code version control, organizing, and publishing software packages
* Strong quantitative and critical thinking skills, demonstrated through coursework or research experience
* Familiarity with biology and/or neuroscience through coursework or research experience
