Job Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer I at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc., you will be leading product development engagements with stakeholders for experimental design services in genomic sequencing. You will communicate effectively with management, scientists, and the software team, translating NGS concepts into relational data models. Your responsibilities will include building and deploying containerized cloud-based data services using Python, GitHub, AWS, and other tools and technologies. You will uphold an agile approach to the software development life cycle (SDLC) and produce well-documented and tested code.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and deploy cloud-based applications using Python, AWS, containers, or relational databases
• Experience in data science and machine learning, building analytical models and productionizing solutions using Python, R, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV
• Big data platforms like Apache Iceberg and Spark for large-scale data processing
• Projects in data science disciplines including deep learning, computer vision, and NLP
• Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
• SQL and experience with relational databases and data lakes
