Job Title: Patient Call Center Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Call Center Representative to join our team at West Point Optical LLC. As a Patient Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, answering their inquiries, and resolving any issues they may have.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from patients to take orders, answer inquiries, and handle complaints.
  • Schedule appointments and notify patients when orders are ready for pick up.
  • Manage and resolve patient complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide patients with eye healthcare information and confirm their insurance eligibility.
  • Enter new customer information into our system and update existing customer information.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues and route calls to the appropriate resource.
  • Follow up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and document all call information according to standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications.
  • Required language proficiency.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of call center telephony and technology.
  • Some experience in a call center, healthcare, or customer service environment.
  • Good data entry and typing skills.
  • Knowledge of administration and clerical processes.
