Job Overview
Key Qualifications:

PRIMARY ROLE:

Design and specify sophisticated electrical, mechanical, and automated systems. Enhance manufacturing support and maintenance initiatives through comprehensive training and technical assistance. Formulate process specifications, machine parameters, and strategies for minimizing waste and maximizing operational efficiency. Oversee capital projects from initial planning to acquisition, installation, testing, and transition to production. Evaluate industry-leading facilities and implement top-tier processes, equipment, and workflows.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop control systems for manufacturing machinery, encompassing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.

Select capital machinery for production processes.

Optimize existing machinery to boost uptime, enhance quality, and increase productivity.

Provide engineering assistance for production equipment and processes, including guidance for maintenance teams.

Establish initiatives for cost-saving measures to align with overall plant objectives.

Advise on enhancements to preventative maintenance strategies.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Authorize and approve modifications to machine tool programs.

Educate team members on new technologies and manufacturing methodologies.

Adhere to and uphold Quality Management System and Environmental Management System standards.

Participate in teams and lead team initiatives.

Monitor and document cost savings.

PFMEAs:
Understand the application of PFMEAs within the organization; develop, maintain, and review PFMEAs as necessary.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.

This position necessitates technical expertise in machine functionality, processes, control systems, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives, and electrical/electronic systems.

Technical knowledge in mechanical design is essential.

Proficient abilities in capital equipment justification, project scheduling, and managerial planning are crucial. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.

Mentor and develop maintenance staff.

Assist other facilities with technical challenges.

Candidates must be capable of independently managing assigned project tasks.

Preferred experience in data-driven analysis and problem-solving techniques.
