  • Industry Knowledge: Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes, ensuring that product designs are competitive and compliant.
  • Production Support: Support the transition of new products from development to full-scale production, troubleshooting any issues that arise during manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in product development engineering, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of automotive product design, development processes, and engineering principles. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools. Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, and other quality and testing methodologies.
  • Qualifications: Proven track record of leading complex product development projects from concept to production. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply innovative solutions to engineering challenges. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and certifications related to automotive manufacturing.
