Job Title: HR ManagerJob Summary:

KenCCID, a leading Philadelphia nonprofit, seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills, with a comprehensive understanding of federal labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the National Labor Relations Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and other applicable laws.
  • Navigate complex regulatory landscapes and handle employee complaints and protected activity.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies, including internal metrics and workforce culture initiatives.
  • Provide HR support to a unionized workforce and a diverse employee base.
  • Accomplish organizational goals with minimal supervision and lead a Human Resources team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an HR Generalist and/or in a senior HR position with at least two years' experience in labor law compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills with proficiency in English.
