About The Role

The Agent AI team operates with agility, tackling challenges at the cutting edge of AI product innovation.

This position demands an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong curiosity about the rapidly evolving landscape of large language models and AI-driven assistants.

We are looking for a collaborative, customer-centric, and product-oriented scientist with extensive experience in applied machine learning.

You should be a hands-on researcher and engineer, possessing a deep understanding of metrics, online and offline experimentation, and the ability to support and refine models at scale and in production.


Embrace a growth mindset and apply first principles to navigate ambiguous customer challenges, allowing for rapid iteration on innovative solutions and workflows.

Work closely with applied scientists, engineers, designers, and researchers to comprehend, define, design, prototype, implement, and refine both internal and external systems that support and deliver next-generation AI applications.

Build relationships with other teams to manage critical dependencies and infrastructure.
Contribute to fostering and enhancing our team culture of swift innovation and resourceful creativity.

This role is categorized as a Remote position.

Remote employees do not have a permanent corporate office and instead work from a location of their choice, which must be disclosed to the Company.

Employees in the U.S. may reside in any of the 50 states, with certain exceptions.


In specific states, the standard base pay range for this role is between $156,000 and $249,700 annually.

This pay range is specific to certain states and may not apply to other locations.


In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance, and location.

Actual compensation will vary based on experience, performance, and location.

Who You Are

Proficient in a high-level programming language (Python and PySpark are commonly used).
Solid understanding of statistics (including causal inference, Frequentist or Bayesian inference).

Excellent communication skills to influence, collaborate with, and educate others (including those who may need guidance on experimentation and statistical methods).

Experience in prototyping, developing, and implementing algorithmic solutions and new technologies utilizing diverse analytics and data.
A determined approach to tackling complex challenges.

Demonstrated technical capability and enthusiasm for both leading implementation and providing technical/thought leadership for a team of exceptional scientists and engineers.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with generative AI or large language models and associated technologies (such as knowledge retrieval solutions).
Experience handling regulated, private, or sensitive data, document understanding, user interest modeling, or reinforcement learning.
Experience collaborating with science, engineering, design, research, and product teams in a startup-like environment.
Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
