You should be a hands-on researcher and engineer with a solid grasp of metrics, both online and offline experimentation, applied product research, and the ability to support and refine models at scale and in live environments.


Utilize a growth mindset and foundational principles to tackle ambiguous customer challenges, swiftly iterating on innovative solutions and methodologies.

Work closely with applied scientists, engineering, design, and research teams to comprehend, define, design, prototype, implement, and enhance systems that support and deploy next-generation AI applications.

Foster connections with other teams to address critical dependencies and infrastructure needs.
Contribute to nurturing and expanding our team culture of rapid innovation and resourceful creativity.

This role is categorized as a Remote position.

Remote employees do not have a permanent corporate office and instead work from a location of their choice, which must be disclosed to the Company.

Employees in the U.S. may reside in any of the 50 states, with certain exceptions.


In specific states, the standard base salary range for this role is competitive and may vary based on experience, performance, and location.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on various factors.


Who You Are

Proficient in a high-level programming language (commonly Python and PySpark).
Practical knowledge of statistical methods (e.g., causal inference, Frequentist or Bayesian inference).

Strong communication skills to influence, collaborate with, and educate others, particularly regarding experimentation and statistical methods.

Experience in prototyping, developing, and implementing algorithmic solutions and new technologies with diverse analytics and data.
A determined approach to solving complex problems.

Demonstrated technical expertise and enthusiasm for both leading implementation and providing technical/thought leadership within a team of distinguished scientists and engineers.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with generative AI or large language models and related technologies (e.g., knowledge retrieval solutions).
Experience handling regulated, private, or sensitive data, document understanding, user interest modeling, or reinforcement learning.
Experience collaborating with science, engineering, design, research, and product teams in a startup-like environment.
Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
