Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement health education programs and initiatives for students, aligning with the university's commitment to holistic development and community significance.
  • Health Assessments and Counseling: Conduct health assessments and provide individualized health education counseling to students, promoting healthy lifestyles and habits.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with faculty and staff to integrate health education into the academic curriculum, ensuring a seamless and supportive learning environment.
  • Workshops and Events: Organize workshops, seminars, and events focused on wellness topics, including nutrition, mental health, and physical fitness, to promote healthy behaviors and habits.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Evaluate the effectiveness of health education programs and initiatives through assessments and feedback, making data-driven decisions to improve program outcomes.
  • Student Support: Act as a resource for students regarding health-related issues, providing referrals and support as needed, to ensure students receive the help they need to succeed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in health education or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of health promotion principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic environment.
