About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, including the setup and sterilization of equipment and supplies.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Assist with the transfer of patients to and from the operating room, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies in surgical support.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
  • National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
  • Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date.
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
  • Previous experience in a surgical setting preferred.
