As a Child Welfare Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with intellectual disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and executing tailored care strategies for each child, reflecting their unique assessments, requirements, and aspirations.
- Facilitating access to essential services and resources to address the holistic needs—physical, emotional, educational, and social—of the children under your care.
- Regularly reviewing and assessing the progress of each child, making necessary adjustments to care strategies and interventions.
- Working in partnership with social workers, therapists, educators, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for the children.
- Organizing and leading regular case discussions and team meetings to evaluate cases, exchange insights, and synchronize services.
- Championing the rights and best interests of children within the child welfare framework and with external organizations.
- Keeping precise and current case documentation, reports, and records in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Providing immediate support and guidance to children and staff during critical situations.
