Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As an Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide clinical services and communication with patients, families, and other professionals/service providers in the medical community.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Perform and interpret results of Videofluoroscopic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies
Requirements
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington or holding an interim permit
  • Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred
