Job Summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a skilled Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic treatment to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with patients, families, and staff to provide comprehensive care and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions, including speech therapy, language therapy, and swallowing therapy, to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, and staff to promote understanding and awareness of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)-accredited program.
  • Current Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist License.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
