Overview:

Compensation and Benefits:

BrandSafway provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a robust 401k plan. The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000 annually plus commission, reflecting the expected low and high ends of the salary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate sales leads while engaging with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and promote scaffolding, coating, and insulation products/services in alignment with branch revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Analyze customer specifications and create proposals that meet their requirements for the sale, rental, and/or installation and dismantling of scaffolding systems and/or coating and insulation products or services. Collaborate with engineering services related to proposals and perform tasks associated with proposal preparation, including reviewing blueprints and conducting estimates.
  • Deliver proposals to clients persuasively and address any inquiries or objections to secure the sale. Negotiate terms of sale to maximize the company's advantage.
  • Oversee the sales process, delivery, and/or installation and dismantling of scaffolding systems and/or coating and insulation products or services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and branch revenue and profitability targets.
  • Provide leadership and assist in managing job site work crews to meet customer expectations and maintain job profitability.
  • Engage with construction site management or other personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and the safe use of company products and services.
  • Monitor and manage billing activities to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all sales and/or rentals of scaffolding systems and related services.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts to secure payment for products or services while preserving the business relationship with the client.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of sales activities and associated expenses.
  • Stay informed about competitors' sales strategies and initiatives within the branch territory.

Qualifications:

  • Education equivalent to a High School diploma is required; additional business-related education, such as an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or Sales and Marketing, is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience is required.
  • Previous experience in the power, refining, industrial insulation, coatings, petrochemical, and/or construction sectors is desirable.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle safely while adhering to all traffic regulations are necessary.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers, company personnel, and client representatives at job sites, as well as for delivering sales presentations and negotiating terms.
  • Ability to review and process critical customer information (blueprints, plans, specifications, etc.) and prepare timely, accurate, and competitive bids for the sale and/or rental of scaffolding systems is required.
  • Capability to process complex, time-sensitive data from multiple sources, make informed decisions based on this data, and effectively communicate necessary actions to customers and company staff.
  • Proficiency in using various standard office equipment, including calculators, telephones, computers (with various software applications), and fax machines is necessary.
