Job Summary:

The Patient Services Coordinator will be responsible for performing patient check-in and check-out procedures, including entering demographic and insurance information into our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. This role will also involve working with patients, insurance companies, and providers to maintain accurate demographic information and obtain necessary authorizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient check-in and check-out procedures, including data entry into our EMR system.
  • Work with patients, insurance companies, and providers to maintain accurate demographic information and obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Prepare charts for upcoming appointments and process medical records requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of administrative medical office experience, preferably in a specialty practice.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems required.
