Job Title: Senior Vice President of Inclusion and Accessibility

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vice President of Inclusion and Accessibility to join our team at Broward County Florida. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure that our destination is accessible to all individuals, regardless of their abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inclusive marketing campaigns to promote our destination as a welcoming and inclusive place for all visitors.
  • Work with local businesses and national organizations to improve accessibility and promote the needs of individuals with disabilities in the tourism industry.
  • Manage the Inclusion & Accessibility department budget and approve major expenditures.
  • Liaise with other Visit Lauderdale departments to ensure alignment with the vision and strategic plan of the Inclusion & Accessibility department.
  • Assist in emergency functions as assigned during disaster situations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, marketing, hotel, restaurant and tourism or closely related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in hotel/tourism marketing or closely related field.
