Accounts Receivable Support Specialist
At CommuniCare Corporate, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Support Specialist to join our Corporate and Field Revenue Cycle team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the revenue cycle process, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, and providing exceptional customer service to our internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and report on clearinghouse activity to ensure timely and accurate payment processing
- Provide backup support to the Corporate Revenue Cycle Software Support team, ensuring seamless operation of Point Click Care
- Develop and maintain Quick Reference Guide tools for Clearinghouse and Point Click Care
- Perform data pulls for external and internal auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Review and approve write-offs for appropriateness, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting
- Assist in importing write-offs when approved, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing
- Review and approve PCC payer setup requests prior to sending to CDMCARS approval
- Collaborate with Cash Reconciliation Specialists to ensure accurate and timely EFT processing
- Set up ERA as requested by the Revenue Cycle team, ensuring seamless operation of the revenue cycle process
- Extract data from OCC to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement
- Assist with claims projects in collaboration with the Revenue Cycle team, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing
Requirements
- Experience in Point Click Care and Clearinghouses preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Smartsheet
- 3-5 years of strong business office cash reconciliation and accounting experience
- Bachelor or Associate's Degree in accounting preferred
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Point Click Care and Quadax Software required
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively with team members, facility, and regional associates
- Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Strong task management and organizational skills, with understanding of priorities
- Displays a high degree of confidentiality
- Ability to develop and provide analytical reports
