Cash Reconciliation Specialist

CommuniCare Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Cash Reconciliation Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, OH.

About the Role

The Cash Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for performing continuous monthly audits of cash posted in PCC to ensure it equals total cash received per Treasury.

This position will review unposted cash for facilities to ensure that refunds issued are posted in PCC and that unidentified payments are not posted to unposted cash and forgotten.

The Cash Reconciliation Specialist will also be responsible for the accounting of funds related to acquisitions and divestitures.

This role will frequently interact with Business Office and Regional Associates to successfully complete position responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly audits of cash posted in PCC
  • Review unposted cash for facilities
  • Account for funds related to acquisitions and divestitures
  • Interact with Business Office and Regional Associates
Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office

3-5 years of strong business office cash reconciliation & accounting experience

Bachelor or Associates Degree in accounting preferred

Long term care experience preferred
