We are currently seeking a Healthcare Benefits Operations Leader to join our dynamic team.



Position Overview:

The Healthcare Benefits Operations Leader serves as the primary contact for operational matters related to the services provided.

This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and support for clients and staff. Key responsibilities include developing and enforcing operational policies, managing personnel, facilitating communication with external stakeholders, and providing operational status updates to leadership.

The Healthcare Benefits Operations Leader must ensure compliance with relevant Agency, State, and CMS guidelines regarding benefits and claims processing services, including claims intake, pricing, processing, reference data, and business operations. It is essential that the operational team is well-trained and knowledgeable.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage program operations, directly supervising key management personnel.
  • Establish and maintain procedures to achieve program objectives.
  • Monitor business and financial metrics to assess operational success and report progress towards goals.
  • Coordinate all facets of program operations, including scheduling, work plan management, and issue resolution.
  • Act as the Program Director in their absence.
  • Address operational issues promptly or delegate to appropriate staff for resolution.
  • Demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Adapt to frequent interruptions and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ensure all contractual service level agreements are met and reported in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure system enhancements align with program needs.
  • Identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance client, provider, and member satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare-related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent management experience.
  • Experience in public or private sector healthcare, particularly in service provision to government or commercial programs.
  • Ability to navigate the company's decision-making and organizational structure.
  • Skills in evaluating operations and procedures, formulating policy, and implementing new strategies.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. healthcare industry.
  • Expertise in employee development and performance management.
  • Proven ability in P&L management, operational process engineering, and remote operations management.
