Job Title: Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in the sales process, bridging the gap between complex technical equipment or services and our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to assess and understand their equipment needs and systems requirements.
  • Develop and manage a network of local representative partners across the US and Canada.
  • Create and present product and service information to customers, ensuring effective communication of technical details.
  • Provide expert support to sales teams, facilitating the sale of products and services.
  • Ensure customer needs are met, including product modifications as necessary.
  • Propose product improvements to customers, highlighting the benefits of changes.
  • Offer technical support to customers, resolving issues with installed equipment.
  • Coordinate product orders and schedules deliveries.
  • Contribute to the research and development of new products.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to apply engineering, technology, or related principles to product sales.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a field related to products and services being sold.
  • Two years of related product or sales experience required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, with the ability to traverse active construction sites and mechanical rooms.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.
  • Travel requirements include 50% local travel and 50% national/abroad travel, with a minimum of 5 days of overnight travel per month.
Salary Description:

$95K to $100K, with an additional bonus program.
