Job Title: Trading Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Trading Specialist to join our team at Peoples Bancorp (OH). As a Trading Specialist, you will be responsible for the trade and settlement processes for all mutual funds and equity securities held in the trust department on our custodian system and on other custodian platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and timely process all mutual funds traded through system, trust & EB.
  • Troubleshoot and reconcile all trading issues and outages timely.
  • Process short term trading fees as required.
  • Reconciliation of mutual fund and held away positions.
  • Trade affirm and trade settlement processing for inside and outside traders.
  • Timely process corporate action.
  • Process CD interest, dividend & maturities for CD's held at Fidelity.
  • Responsible for security set-up as required by outside traders.
  • Research and troubleshoot trading issues with inside and outside traders.
  • Responsible for TIPS Processing.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of trading processes and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
