Job Overview

More Clean of Texas is a leading power sweeping service provider, dedicated to maintaining pristine environments for commercial, municipal, and infrastructure clients. We pride ourselves on treating every property with the utmost care and attention.

Position Details: This role primarily involves daytime hours, five days a week, with the possibility of occasional evenings, weekends, and travel.

Under the guidance of the President and/or Area Manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our fleet and company properties, including both routine and emergency maintenance tasks.

Compensation: $22.00/hr - $28.00/hr, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance, preventative measures, and repairs on company vehicles, equipment, and trailers, focusing on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
  • Maintain organized records of work performed using our internal fleet management software.
  • Regularly inspect shop and storage areas for cleanliness and safety compliance.
  • Ensure all vehicles are routinely checked for cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Operate company vehicles, adhering to approved driving records.
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of both routine and emergency maintenance for all company assets.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers as needed.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment as required.
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions as necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet vehicle and equipment maintenance.
  • Diesel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret schematics.
  • Personal tools are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
  • Capability to obtain a TSA TWIC card.
  • Strong ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in using email and iPad technology.
  • Highly motivated and dependable.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work is essential.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools and power equipment.
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to drive, stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, reach outward, reach above shoulder height, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend. The employee must occasionally lift or carry up to 50 lbs and push or pull similar weights. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Successful performance of this role requires the ability to complete each task satisfactorily and independently. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
