Position Overview:
This role primarily involves daytime hours, five days a week, with occasional evening, weekend, and travel requirements.

Under the guidance of the President and/or Area Manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep of company assets and fleet, which includes executing both routine and emergency manual tasks.


COMPENSATION:
$24.00/hr - $28.00/hr based on experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct maintenance, preventative care, and repairs on company machinery, vehicles, and trailers, covering mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
- Maintain accurate records and electronic documentation of work completed in a timely manner using the internal fleet management software.
- Regularly inspect shop and storage areas for cleanliness, safety compliance, and necessary maintenance.
- Perform routine inspections of all vehicles for cleanliness, safety compliance, and maintenance needs.
- Operate company vehicles (with approved Motor Vehicle Record).
- Assist in planning and scheduling both routine and emergency maintenance for all company assets and storage facilities.

- Coordinate with contractors, service providers, or other external parties requiring access to shop or storage areas as directed by management.

- Adhere to PPE guidelines as instructed.
- Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions when necessary.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Diesel experience is preferred.
- Ability to interpret schematics.
- Personal tools are preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to obtain a TSA TWIC card.
- Capable of following both written and verbal instructions.
- Proficient in using email and iPad technology.
- Highly motivated individual.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to follow instructions.
- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment, as well as power tools.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In the course of performing job duties, the employee is frequently required to drive, stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, reach outward, reach above shoulder level, climb, crawl, squat or kneel, and/or bend.

The employee must occasionally lift or carry up to 50 lbs, and/or push or pull up to 50 lbs.

Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

To succeed in this role, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily and in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
