Job Overview

More Clean of Texas is a leading power sweeping service provider dedicated to maintaining pristine environments for commercial, municipal, and infrastructure clients. We pride ourselves on treating every property with the utmost care and attention.

Position Details: This role primarily involves daytime hours across five days a week, with occasional evening, weekend, and travel requirements.

Under the guidance of the President and/or Area Manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our fleet and properties, which includes both routine and emergency manual tasks.

Compensation: $22.00/hr - $28.00/hr, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance, preventative measures, and repairs on company vehicles, equipment, and trailers, focusing on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed using internal fleet management software.
  • Regularly inspect shop and storage areas for cleanliness and safety compliance.
  • Ensure all vehicles are inspected for cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Operate company vehicles, adhering to approved driving records.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling both routine and emergency maintenance for all vehicles and storage facilities.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers requiring access to shop or storage areas as directed.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment as required.
  • Maintain punctual attendance and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions when necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Diesel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret schematics.
  • Personal tools are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
  • Ability to obtain a TSA TWIC card.
  • Capable of following both written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in using email and iPad technology.
  • Highly motivated and reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power equipment.
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to drive, stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach outward and above shoulder height, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend. The employee must occasionally lift or carry up to 50 lbs and push or pull similar weights. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
